Stainless Steel has many benefits over traditional plastic litter trays. As plastic litter trays need to be replaced every 12 months for optimal hygiene, stainless steel makes for a more environmentally friendly option.

Stainless steel litter trays are more durable, easy to clean, and are odour resistant too - making them a better choice for both you and your cat.

In addition to daily litter tray cleaning (scooping solids etc.), we recommend giving your Tabby Trays a complete change and clean weekly to prevent build up.

Either wash with warm water and mild detergent, or wipe down with antibacterial spray and wipe.

We recommend having one Tabby Tray per cat, plus one extra in multi-cat households.
1 cat = 1-2 Tabby Trays
2 cats = 3 Tabby Trays
3 cats = 4 Tabby Trays etc.

Cats can be fussy about which litter tray they use. Having more litter trays available gives them options and helps to disperse waste, which will keep your kitties happy.

Cats can be picky, so switching litter trays can occasionally take some time. Start by placing the new tray next to the old one, keeping the litter type the same.

Let your cat explore the newcomer at their own pace. Sprinkle a bit of used litter in the new tray for familiarity. With patience, your cat will love their new throne in no time!

Tabby Trays will be ample space for most cats to do their business - measuring 50cm x 35cm x 15cm. Larger cat breeds like Maine Coons may need a little extra space - we have more sizes coming soon!
